Trocaire College Student Massage Therapy Clinic Open to Public

Discounted 60-Minute Sessions Available with an Appointment
Does your favorite sports team have you in knots? Are you on edge about the upcoming holiday season? Treat yourself to a massage.
Trocaire College announced today that it is offering discounted 60-minute massage sessions to the public via the student massage therapy clinic. Under the supervision of instructors, Trocaire’s massage therapy students provide a variety of massages from Swedish to therapeutic at its on-campus clinic located at 360 Choate Ave, South Buffalo.
“Trocaire’s massage therapy program teaches theory but also prepares students for the real world with practice in a true clinical setting. Our clinic is an opportunity for students to practice learned techniques, so they are fully prepared to pass their licensure exam,” said Susan Sullivan, LMT, Trocaire’s massage therapy program director. “We invite the public to set up appointments for massages as they will receive professional services at discounted prices.”
The Trocaire student massage therapy clinic begins Nov. 8 and runs through Dec. 13 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 1– 5 p.m. A 60-minute massage is $40 for the public. Appointments are required and can be scheduled by calling 716-827-2518. Trocaire College’s massage therapy programs include a 10-month certificate offering and a two-year associate in applied science degree. Each program combines lectures, laboratory experiences and clinical rotations at facilities throughout the region for a comprehensive understanding of both Eastern and Western massage therapy techniques. Graduates of both programs are eligible to sit for the New York State board licensure exam.
