Trocaire College educates more than 1100 Western New Yorkers every year who graduate and fill local jobs in healthcare, business and technology.  Many of them are low to medium income and are balancing work, family and school. They seek a Trocaire education to serve others and improve their lives.

Yet, the average gap a Trocaire student faces in funds available for tuition (after financial aid is applied) is almost $7,000. This can be an insurmountable obstacle. Our students take care of their families first, and for many, it prevents them from returning to school sooner.

The Trocaire College Board of Trustees and Leadership team identified this financial gap as a priority in the strategic plan. The Board and Trocaire employees were the first to make commitments to the campaign. Now we seek support from the community to Fund the Future for WNY.  We believe in the Mercy Mission at Trocaire, and education as a means to solve family poverty.

Impact Opportunities

Named Scholarship Endowments
Donors who pledge $25,000 or more may create a named scholarship. Once the scholarship is fully funded, awards to students will begin. Donors may designate, in agreement with the college, how the funds are used. Annual interest will grow the fund and provide awards to students for all time.

General Scholarship Endowment
Donors whose total campaign gifts are less than $25,000 who want to support scholarships may make their gift to the general scholarship endowment. While they do not have the naming or designation rights, their gifts will be pooled with others to create impactful scholarship support for students year after year.
