Trocaire Offers Virtual Leadership Development Seminars


Open to all, seminars offered every Thursday from Sept. 10 – Oct. 15

For employees and employers alike looking to strengthen their ongoing professional development, Trocaire College’s Workforce Development is offering a series of virtual leadership development seminars this fall.

The one-hour seminars, taught by P.R. Morris Consulting Principal Peter Morris and fellow business coach, Jack Colocousis, are offered every Thursday at 1 p.m. Sept. 10 through Oct. 15.

“These seminars were in the works pre-pandemic, but we worked with our partners to ensure the topics we covered would be the most relevant and helpful given today’s business climate,” said Gary Smith, Ed.D., vice president, innovation and workforce development, Trocaire College. “Whether you are just starting, changing careers or seeking career advancement, these seminars will help you to up your professional game.”

The initial seminar, “The Twelve Skills of Separation in the Workplace,” will be offered for free on Sept. 10 at 1 p.m. and focuses on the assets that a new or inexperienced employee should have to separate themselves from their competition and be recognized as a candidate to move up the ladder. A second offering of this seminar is scheduled for Sept. 19 at 10 a.m.

Other virtual seminars are available for $45 each and include:
