Buffalo News Shines a Spotlight on the Trocaire College Technology Institute

The Buffalo News recently stopped by the new Trocaire College Technology Institute (TCTI) to learn about the college’s programs in Cybersecurity and Data Analytics, and the college’s plans to help fill the local workforce need for well-trained tech professionals.

A $1.6 million construction project, the state-of-the-art TCTI opened in August and was funded in part by the New York State Higher Education Capital Matching Grant program. The grant funded $420,000, while Trocaire covered the rest of the project.

In addition to Trocaire’s new programs in Cybersecurity and Data Analytics, the TCTI houses the college’s existing tech-focused academic programs, including Healthcare Informatics, Health Information Technology and Computer Network Administration, and will eventually include Workforce Development- based technology certifications, as well.
