Jan Peters, MS, SPHR

Biography

Jan is a seasoned Human Resources professional currently employed with Trocaire College as its Chief Human Resources Officer. She has 20+ years global Human Resources leadership experience within organizations in all phases of the business cycle and within multiple industries including Financial Services, Management Consulting, Manufacturing, Information Technology Services, Tourism and Hospitality, and now Higher Education.

Prior to transitioning to a career in Human Resources Management, Jan served 10 years as a Communications Officer within the US Army and is a Desert Storm veteran. Accompanied by her husband Tony, Jan returned to Western New York in 2014 after living out of state and abroad since 1986.

Jan has been a member of the Charter School of Inquiry Board of Trustees since 2019.
