On Thursday, May 4, 2017 Trocaire College took home a BETA award for “Best Use of Digital Marketing” at the InfoTech WNY BETA awards event held at RiverWorks. The event hosted over 600 attendees from all areas of the local tech sector, celebrating their accomplishments and achievements.
The BETAS (Buffalo Emerging Technology Awards Showcase) recognize and celebrate local organizations and the individuals who set the standard for technological innovation and implementation, workplace culture, and industry activism. It is such enterprising work done every day that feeds economic development and technological excellence within the Buffalo Niagara region, and Trocaire College is now a recognized a part of it all.
Trocaire was in great company with fellow category finalists LUMINUS, The Olear Team at MJ Peterson, Roswell Park Cancer Institute and InboundMD. The Trocaire team won based on a results-driven nomination detailing their efforts in the area of digital marketing, including the use of their website, social media channels, mobile initiatives, blogging strategy and branding implementation via digital channels.
The Trocaire College Institutional Advancement team, responsible for digital marketing efforts, feels especially proud, as its all-women shop generated this recognition in the predominantly male technology industry, and provided increased awareness and visibility of Trocaire College among some of WNY’s most innovative and recognizable companies and organizations.
