Trocaire Alumna Named Kenmore Mercy Stroke Program Coordinator

Trocaire alumna Amy M. Baker, RN, BSN, BS, ’03, was recently appointed as the stroke program coordinator at Kenmore Mercy Hospital.

In her new role, Amy collaborates with the hospital staff and professional associations to facilitate the growth of Kenmore Mercy’s award-winning stroke program. In addition, she is responsible for patient and family education, as well as coordinating community stroke prevention and education activities, including oversight of the stroke support group.

Amy has been with hospital for eight years, most recently holding the role of cardiac clinical advisor for two years. She was previously a staff nurse for five years in the Intensive Care Unit, working with the hospital’s most critically ill patients.

She holds an associate of science degree in nursing from Trocaire and a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Niagara University (2013). In addition, she recently completed an advanced certificate in Integrated Healthcare Delivery.

Currently, Amy is enrolled in the master of arts in Organizational Leadership program at from Medaille College, with anticipated completion in May.
