Registered Nurse (RN) Refresher Course

This Refresher Course is designed to help currently licensed and registered nurses who have been away from active practice to regain confidence in taking care of patients in various medical settings. It consists of lecture/didactic and hands-on laboratory skills training. Completion of the course will prepare nurses for re-licensure and resumption of their nursing careers.

This course is designed to help students review the Nurse Licensure Examination (NCLEX)-PN. This in-depth review course covers both technical knowledge and test taking skills. The program provides review of pathophysiology, pharmacology, data collection, appropriate nursing interventions, planning and evaluation. Computer test taking skills are covered.
