Sushi lovers know that a plate of colorful, beautifully arranged sushi is a work of art that looks as good as it tastes.
If you’ve ever wondered about the culinary finesse involved in crafting those rolls of flavor, save the date for Trocaire College’s upcoming Sushi Masters Workshop, led by Buffalo’s own celebrity chef and restaurant mogul Mike “A” Andrzejewski.
Starting at 6 p.m. on Monday, April 24, Andrzejewski will lead workshop participants along for a one-of a-kind evening exploring the art of sushi making. He will demonstrate the various steps to sushi creation, such as rice preparation and perfection, seafood selection, rolling techniques and proper knife skills.
There will also be plenty of opportunities for tasting sushi creations along the way—and with Andrzejewski at the event’s helm, that alone is reason to attend. A master chef and owner of such Buffalo mainstays as SeaBar (a sushi-lovers paradise), Cantina Loco, Tappo and the former Bourbon & Butter/Mike A’s, Andrzejewski’s creations never fail to impress.
The Sushi Masters Workshop will take place at Trocaire’s state-of-the-art teaching kitchen, located at its Transit Road Extension Center in Williamsville. Seating is limited, so register for this unique event today!
