Medical Assisting Information Night – March 11, 6-7 PM

Join us on March 11 at our main campus in Buffalo for the Medical Assisting Information Night from 6-7 pm. Stop in and learn more about this in-demand and growing healthcare field.

The Medical Assisting field combines the clinical and administrative worlds in healthcare, making medical assistants both extremely valuable and versatile to their employers. Students are prepared to assist with patient care management, perform both administrative and clinical procedures, and, when necessary, assist in the supervision of office personnel. This is a perfect entryway into a healthcare career with many graduates going on to pursue additional degrees in Nursing or Healthcare Informatics.

This exciting career has an annual mean wage of $37,560 in NYS and is growing rapidly according to the Bureau of Labor and Statistics. WNY has 600+ job postings for Medical Assistants right now. Students can earn this degree in 24 months or less and be ready to enter the field right away.

Our students enjoy hands-on clinical placements at area hospitals and clinics. Additionally, Trocaire Medical Assisting graduates earn 4 certifications during their coursework here and are prepared to sit for the certification exam to become a certified Medical Assistant, offered by the American Association of Medical Assistants.
