Image Production and Evaluation II

This course continues instruction on radiographic exposure principles with an emphasis on radiographic techniques, then digital imaging.  Students first learn technique selection and the use of automatic exposure control, anatomically programmed radiography, and technique charts.  Mathematical formulas (algebra level) are utilized for technique compensation.  Computerized radiography (CR) and direct readout (DR) digital radiography are discussed in terms of image receptors, image resolution, and processing.
