This year’s issue of the Trocaire Trailblazer is hot off the presses! We are so excited to share the stories and accomplishments of some of our amazing students, alumni and employees, as well as Mercy-related service learning, program developments and new alumni outreach efforts.
Our cover story this year focused on alumna Colleen Perryman ’75, who is an RN at the Sisters of Charity Hospital neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). The hospital is completely renovating and expanding the unit, and Colleen–a nurse there for more than 30 years–is leading the charge in making sure NICU staff voices are heard during the process.
We also featured two recent graduates–one a single mother and veteran, the other a refugee and this spring’s Commencement speaker–to share their incredible journeys and inspire their fellow alumni and current students.
Those are only a few of the stories and features covered in this year’s Trailblazer. We hope you find it an informative, enjoyable and inspirational look at the amazing things going on in the Trocaire College community, both on campus and off. Please take a look, and enjoy and share that Trocaire pride!
