The Federal Work-Study Program (FWSP) provides part-time employment while you are enrolled at the college. It is available to full-time and part-time students. Currently, students can earn up to $9 per hour for on-campus positions and up to $12 per hour for off-campus positions. Generally, students work an average of 10-15 hours per week, with a maximum of 20 hours per week. These positions offer great work experience that can be applied to jobs you may hold in the future.
Work-study eligibility is determined through the FAFSA. To be eligible, there must be a demonstrated financial need. Due to the limited number of positions available, we request that the student complete a College Work-Study Application. This application is available in the “Financial Aid Forms” section located on the left side of this page. Students can also visit the Financial Aid office (Room B10) to pick up an application.
Students interested in applying for the positions must contact the Financial Aid office first to determine if the meet eligibility requirements. If they do have eligibility, the student will be notified by the department for the next steps in the process.
If you wish to participate in work-study, download a work-study application online or pick one up in the Financial Aid office.
