Yang Zhao, Ed.D., MS, MA

Biography

Dr. Yang Zhao joined Trocaire College as the Program Director for BPS Management Programs in 2021. Dr. Zhao has been involved in international higher education on multiple fronts over the past 20 years. During that time, she has served different institutions as a faculty member and an administrator in China and the United States working with higher education partners from around the world. In 2017, Dr. Zhao was appointed to the Fulbright Specialist Roster by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA).

Dr. Zhao’s entrepreneurial activities over the past 15 years as a manager and owner in the U.S. have included several hospitality and real estate related businesses as a business owner. Dr. Zhao also serves as the President-Elect on the Board of National Association for Talent Development Buffalo Niagara Chapter. Dr. Zhao continues to provide business consulting services on the subjects of education, leadership, teambuilding, management, talent development, international business, and organizational development to both public and private organizations domestically and abroad.
