The Radiologic Technology students of Trocaire’s 2017 graduating class have posted a 100 percent pass rate on their first attempt at the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registry examination.
The ARRT Registry is an examination used nationwide as an assessment of competence to practice as a radiographer.
“This is a great achievement for the 2017 graduates and an honor for the Medical Imaging Department,” said Program Director Patricia Gauthier, RT (R), MA. “We are proud of these new health professionals who have worked hard over the past two years.”
Gauthier said the pass rate is also a great accomplishment for the full and part-time faculty of Radiologic Technology program, as well as the program’s many clinical partners.
“It stands as a testament to the format and content of the curriculum and to our admissions process,” she said. “The Medical Imaging Department, having always been held in high esteem, is now achieving new heights. The credit for this goes to the students, the faculty, staff, and the affiliated clinical sites who continue to offer their support to the Trocaire Radiologic Technology program.”
